Where Prep is made

Prep is manufactured in Hull, where we operate one of the UK’s largest edible wholesale frying oils refineries. Here we refine large volumes of different vegetable oils including sustainable palm, rapeseed, sunflower and high oleic sunflower, before further blending and processing them into food products, frying oils and ingredients.

A dedicated production area is used to manufacture our leading foodservice brands - Prep high-performance frying oils, Whirl dairy alternatives and Prep Premium speciality oils. Our Hull team also produces a vast range of private label frying oils for foodservice customers.

A state-of-the-art bottling facility is used to produce our International Collection range of speciality oils and vinegars, which are sold in over 25 countries along with Prep Premium Speciality Oils for Foodservice operators. We bottle speciality oils and vinegars for leading UK retailers and manufacture market leading spray oils.

Our Hull team also develops products and solutions for food manufacturing, bakery, special nutrition, and personal care. The Hull Customer Innovation Centre provides a fantastic space for collaboration, co-development, and training.
