Recently, we have made this wealth of insight and understanding more accessible than ever, in the form of two, new apps – the Prep Oil Management App and our Record & Report App.
Prep Oil Management App
The Prep Oil Management App – contains a wealth of valuable information for anyone who produces fried food in a foodservice setting.
Packed with easy-to-follow hints and tips on how to look after your oil to make it last longer, there’s also a useful trouble shooting section. So, if your oil is smoking, foaming excessively or your looking for an effective frying Oil Management guide – look no further, the Prep App has all the answers.
It’s also the home of our How to Choose Calculator – which will help you select the best Prep frying oil for your business. However, the most popular feature is the Oil Spend & Environmental impact calculator. Our frying oil calculator will tell you how much you could save, and how much waste you could eliminate by making the switch to Prep.
Record & Report App
Our Record & Report app is designed to help operators who have more than five outlets – record details of their oil usage and management across their business, to promote food quality, share best practice and optimise oil spend.
One of the key benefits, is that it helps operators and their individual outlets to understand when to discard their oil. Discard too late, and you will risk food quality but if you are worried about that and discard too early, you waste time and resources.
It is a great way to support the implementation of effective oil management processes and procedures, which are great for food, good for business and kind to the planet.
