Butter is an incredibly versatile ingredient - but it’s not as versatile as Whirl. Not only does Whirl contain the delicious rich flavour of butter, it’s also plant-based and has a higher smoke point - meaning you can use it in all kinds of ways, in all kinds of dishes.

Butter is used in many cuisines across the world, but it’s especially prevalent in European cuisines. On-trend continental-style tapas, sharing plates and pasta dishes are all well-suited to a butter alternative. With Whirl, you can make these dishes not only more accessible for diners with dietary requirements, but also easier and more cost-effective to produce.

Garlic and Herb Whirl is especially great for world cuisine - you can create delicious dishes like sauteed seafood, garlic bread, and tasty pasta in minutes, with authentic flavour.

Beat global butter price rises

Across the globe, one trend is common - increasing butter prices. Food Navigator Europe recently reported that: “The price of butter has risen steeply in recent years, with an 18.5% year on year increase between 2023 and 2024.” And there is widespread agreement that the price is likely to remain high during the coming year, due to the stubbornly high cost of production, and adverse weather conditions including dry hot summers, and wet winters.

By using a butter alternative like Whirl, you’re not only ensuring consistent supplies in your kitchen, but also protecting yourself against price hikes. Whirl has a 12-month ambient shelf life, meaning it can last you a lot longer than butter can too, saving not just costs, but making sure you’re also wasting less.

Whether you’re serving barbecue meats and need Whirl to brush on your corn on the cob, are cooking a new and exciting brunch dish and need a butter replacement, or are creating a delicious new dessert inspired by French patisserie, Whirl can support your ambitions.
