Spicy Pork & Nduja Meatballs

Ingredients
- 4tbs Whirl Butter Alternative Original
- 500g pork mince
- 100g chopped nduja
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 onion finely chopped
- 4tsp dried oregano
- 2tsp dried marjoram
- 2 egg beaten
- 60g panko breadcrumbs
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 500ml passata
- 4tbs tomato puree
- 2tsp sugar
- 100ml milk
- 500g fettuccine, Mafalda or similar pasta cooked as per the pack instructions
- Fresh basil leaves
- Parmesan shavings

Method
Place the minced pork, nduja, 2tsp oregano, ½ the garlic and ½ the onions, breadcrumbs and eggs into a large bowl and mix well. Season with a little sea salt and pepper. Divide the mix into 20 meatballs.
Heat 2tbs Whirl Butter Alternative in a large skillet and pan fry the meat balls for about 10 minutes, turning to brown all the sides turn out onto a plate.
Heat the remaining Whirl Butter Alternative in the same pan and sauté the rest of the garlic and onion for about 3 minutes to soften.
Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, passata, oregano, marjoram, sugar and milk and simmer for about 7-10 minutes until thickened slightly. Season with a little sea salt and pepper.
Put the meatballs into the sauce to warm through.
Serve with the cooked pasta and garnish with parmesan shavings and fresh basil leaves.
