Ingredients
- 25g Original Whirl
- 1kg mussels (cleaned ready to use)
- 2 shallots finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 bouquet garni of parsley, thyme and bay leaf
- 100ml white wine
- 120ml Whirl cooking cream alternative
- Small bunch of fresh chopped parsley

Method
Heat the Original Whirl in a large saucepan, add the bouquet garni, shallots and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are softened but not coloured.
Add the wine, warm through and then add the mussels. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes giving the pan a good shake from time to time.
Check that the mussels have opened, remove the bouquet garni, add the cream and chopped parsley and warm slightly. Remove from the heat.
Discard any mussels that do not open.
Serve with French fries or crusty bread or both.
