Garlic and mushroom stroganoff


  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 500g Sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 50ml White Wine
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 100ml Whirl Cooking Cream Alternative
  • 2 tbsp Garlic & Herb Whirl
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Chopped parsley
  • Boiled white rice to serve

Garlic herb whirl


  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan

  2. Add the sliced onion, mushrooms, paprika and wine and cook gently for 10 minutes

  3. Stir in the tomato puree, Cooking cream and Garlic & Herb Whirl

  4. Bring to the boil and reduce the heat and bring to a simmer

  5. Add the parsley and allow to reduce to desired consistency

  6. Serve with the boiled white rice
