We are in the final stages of commissioning a brand new, state-of-the art packaging line at our Hillside, NJ site.

The new line, which is the result of a $1m investment, will allow us to more than double our output of margarines and buttery blends packed in a one-pound solid block wrapped in parchment. It will also be used to pack innovative, plant-based butters - which are growing rapidly in popularity.

In addition to increasing output, the new line will enable us to produce even better, more consistent quality products. This is important both for our own Alpine Valley Brand products, as well as those we make for others under customer brands, as Juan Colmenares, Vice President of Sales & Marketing explains:

Our multi-functional, BRC certified, Hillside site manufactures a broad portfolio of products for a wide variety of cooking applications and food styles. In addition to block margarine, buttery blends and plant-based butters, we produce dressings, mayonnaises, other plant-based categories, specialty fats and liquid shortenings.

What sets us apart from the competition is that we offer a wide variety of packaging formats, and provide sustainable product options and certifications including Kosher, Halal, Plant-Based, Vegan and non-GMO. We also operate our own fleet of reefer trucks which allows us to control how and when our product gets to our customers' docks.
