AAK Foodservice US – Hillside Achieves AA+ Rating in Recent Unannounced BRCGS Audit

In May, BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard) conducted an unannounced audit at AAK Foodservice Hillside, New Jersey where we received an excellent score of ‘AA+’, being the highest possible score for an unannounced audit. The practices and procedures that were implemented combined with a cross-functional team involvement yielded successful results. The grade acknowledges the dedication and commitment of our team management and employees, who work so hard to uphold the highest standards in all areas.

The Hillside operations team, led by James Arcila, Site Director, with the support of the entire Foodservice US team, managed the comprehensive 3-day audit. About half of that time was spent on the production floor to evaluate our processes and the rest of the time was spent looking through documentation and reviewing procedures. Our commitment to supplying high quality, safe products to our customers, resulted in achieving the highest standard in food safety.
