  • 2tsp Whirl Butter Alternative
  • 600g fillet steak cut into strips
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 250g button mushrooms sliced
  • 2tsp Lion Dijon Mustard or mix it up with Lion Coarse Grain Mustard
  • 2tbs brandy
  • 200g sour cream
  • Freshly chopped parsley to garnish
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
  1. Heat the Whirl Butter Alternative in a heavy based frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic till soft but not brown for about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 2 minutes, then add the fillet and season well with salt and black pepper.

  3. Stir in the Mustard and sauté for another 5 minutes until the juices run clear.

  4. Finely stir in the brandy and sour cream to warm, but do not overheat as the sour cream will split.

  5. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with boiled rice or butted noodles.
