Lion American Style Smokey BBQ Sauce

  • 500g lean minced beef
  • 50g panko bread crumbs
  • 4tbs Lion American Style Smokey BBQ Sauce
  • 1tbs American style mustard
  • 2tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tbs honey
  • 1/4tsp sea salt
  • 1/4tsp black pepper
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Lightly mix together in a large bowl using your hands the minced beef, panko, 1tbs Worcestershire sauce, mustard, 3tbs of the Lion American Style Smokey BBQ Sauce, salt and pepper.

  3. Mould the meat mixture into an oblong loaf and place on the baking tray. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the remaining Worcestershire sauce, American Style Smokey BBQ sauce and the honey. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and brush with the mixture. Bake for a further 25 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven, slice and serve with potato wedges and a mixed salad.
