3 Bean Grill Blazin’ Sweet BBQ Chilli Burger

- 4 tbsp Lion Grill Blazin’ Sweet BBQ sauce
- 1 ¼ cups canned cannelloni beans, rinsed and drained (white kidney beans)
- 1 ¼ cups canned kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 ¼ cups canned black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded
- 4 shallots, diced
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- ½ cup vegan breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsp Oasis Butter Alternative or GreenOasis Plant Butter(vegan)
- 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- 6 vegan brioche burger buns
- Burger garnish as desired
Place Lion Grill Blazin’ Sweet BBQ Sauce, beans, chilli, shallots, breadcrumbs, cilantro and salt and pepper in a food processor and pulse till mixed together but still chunky.
Shape into 6 burger patties and chill for 1h in the refrigerator.
Heat the Oasis Butter Alternative or GreenOasis Plant Butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat, cook the burgers for 5 minutes on each side until heated through.
Serve on a brioche burger bun with a garnish of your choice.
