A blend of rapeseed oils with a rich butter flavouring, and now plant-based! Prep Gourmet can be used to shallow fry, bake, grill, create delicious sauces, glaze or as a recipe ingredient. As it has no added salt, it's ideal for sweet treats and dessert applications.
With no need to be clarified, melted or reduced, Prep Gourmet can be used straight from the bottle. It is easy to use, as it doesn’t spit or scorch, curdle or split, and it blends quickly and easily with other ingredients. It also saves valuable fridge space and reduces waste, as it has a 12 month ambient shelf life.
Prep Gourmet has no added salt and is 82% lower in saturated fats, and higher in monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats than butter. This makes it a great alternative for health-conscious customers and diners.
It is more cost effective than butter and comparable to the cost of margarine.
