  • 50g Prep Gourmet Butter Alternative
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 100ml almond milk
  • 50g flaked almonds
  • 1/4tsp almond essence
  • 1tsp corn flour

Method

  1. Heat the sugar and the Prep Gourmet Butter Alternative in a heavy based pan for 5 minutes until bubbling.

  2. Mix the cornflour with a little almond milk to make a paste, then add the remaining almond milk.

  3. Slowly add in the cornflour, almond milk and the almond essence and gently simmer for 15 minutes.
